SOCCER COLTS, have returned from a very successful tournament at the DENMARK SOCCER FESTIVAL. Soccer Colts took two teams to Denmark on the 20 July for 5 days of international football. The two age groups that were taken were U12 and U14. We all flew from Gatwick Airport to Copenhagen.


Both teams played against teams from all over Europe, the under 12 squad actually played a team from Brazil. (what an experience that was for our young players, an opportunity of a life time!).

The Under 14 team finished 3rd overall out of 28 teams, the Under 12 team finished 6th out of 24 teams. This was a fantastic result for our first ever international tournment. Playing teams from top academy sides from professional clubs from Europe. The under 14 team played a Romanian team whos captain plays for the Romanian U16 international team.

All players and coaches learned a lot from the tournmament, from different styles of football, interesting refereeing decisions and the important aspect of working together as a football squad playing at the highest level.

The whole trip was so successful that Soccer Colts are planning to take
4 squads to European tournaments next year including the worlds
biggest youth tournament the GOTHIA WORLD CUP.


Soccer Colts are now seeking new players who wish to play in Europe next year.
Training will start in September, all training will be aimed at playing football at international level.
